"Charming Anhui, Meet in Hefei"

"Charming Anhui, Meet in Hefei" 2025 Hefei Cultural Tourism Promotion Conference was held in Tokyo, Japan. To widely promote Hefei, the English Group of Hefei 168 Xindian Garden School organized a unique "One-day Tour of Hefei" handwritten newspaper activity, aiming to stimulate students' love for their hometown and enhance their comprehensive literacy.

During the creation process, students extensively collected materials and gained in-depth understanding of all aspects of Hefei. Many students focused on Bao Gong Temple. They meticulously depicted the ancient architectural complex of Bao Gong Temple located at No. 72 Wuhu Road.As for Swan Lake, students used vivid lines to outline the beautiful scenery of Swan Lake Park at the intersection of Swan Lake Road and Juyunfeng Road in Shushan District. The glistening lake surface and the surrounding modern buildings reflected the urban vitality and natural beauty of Hefei.

Many other students concentrated on the Anhui Museum, elaborately introducing its "One Museum, Two Halls" layout. Whether it was the simplicity of the Soviet-style architecture of Luyang Hall or the uniqueness of Shushan Hall designed with the concept of "Four Waters Some students even listed precious cultural relics in the museum, such as the Zhuke Great Ding, demonstrating the profound historical and cultural heritage of Hefei and even the whole Anhui Province.

This activity not only exercised students' practical abilities and creativity but also deepened their understanding and love for the city of Hefei. Each handwritten newspaper is a heartfelt confession of students to their hometown and also showcases the positive spirit of the new generation of teenagers.
